On October 20-21, 2017, we convened for our third annual National Summit & Gala at the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, DC.
The CKA National Summit & Gala began in 2015 as an opportunity for Korean Americans to gather in our nation’s capital to reflect on key issues and celebrate our contributions to the U.S. It was a crucial opportunity to hear from elected officials and connect with business and community leaders to plan and mobilize for action on matters that affect us all. In October, we came together on behalf of all Korean Americans to assert our voice in action in our government, our society, and our communities.
The third annual CKA National Summit & Gala included a briefing on Capitol Hill focused on topics of interest to our community as well as convenings with leading Korean Americans from government, business, academia, and entertainment. In the evening afterwards, we held our fundraising gala and awards dinner featuring the following honored guests:
